scams

ck411 started this conversation

As the holiday season aproaches we have to be careful to whom we give our hard earned dollar to.

I learned this from reading reports about charities and how they operate, the scam reaches peak around holiday season, especially christmas.

Not saying they are all scams, but it's recommended to give to reputable charities that do help and work in the community we live in, i've learned to give to charities that do spend most of the donations locally and also help in diffrent communities as well.

I won't dare saying everyone is scam artist, god only knows how many people do need assistant,i personally give to charities and people i do know they need help and can use every little bit of help, i feel better, and i do know the help went to a worthy cause.

 It's your money ,

I agree. While not all organizations or people are out to scam everyone, there are some who do. However, I would rather give directly to the person in need than the organization. This way, I know my gift is going to someone in need, rather than supporting some CEOs salary.
